The Global Finals will be held from May 1st to May 5th at Shanghai’s Oriental Sports Center. The 12 teams will compete to get a spot in the top 8 before competing to take one of the top 4 spots that will lead to the semifinals, 3rd place match, and the finals. For the first set of matches will follow a best of 3 (BO3) matches while the semifinals, 3rd place match, and the finals will be best of 5 (BO5) matches.

Following the pattern of previous years, the COA Finals which will take place on May 5th will present us with upcoming in-game content such as upcoming crossovers, characters, and events. It proves to be very tempting to watch not just for Esports fans but casual players who anticipate future updates to the game.

However, the community still remains embroiled by the usage of AI by NetEase and with no response from the company, the competition continues to be mired by the conflict under the surface.

On the other hand, spirits remain high towards the COA players with an outpouring of support from the IDV community. We wish all the players good luck as they face off against each other in a couple weeks time.
