This week brings Season 43 to a close and with it, Season 44 will be upon us, so there’s quite a bit to expect this week in Identity V.
- Season 44 Essence 1

Showcasing the costumes for Doctor (“Wild Strawberry”), Barmaid (Lost in Bloom), and “Dentist” (Fading Glaze). Doctor will be the limited time S-costume for this essence, so please plan accordingly if you’re trying to pull for it!
- New Rank Accessories

The Rank Essence will be updated to include new rank accessories for Season 44. The characters getting new accessories are Opera Singer, Fire Investigator, and “Nightmare.” If you wish to try you hand at pulling one of these accessories, bear in mind that you can only receive 1 Rank Essence pull per day after playing 3 Rank matches the day before. However, if you can’t pull the accessory you want, or don’t like to rank, then you can always wait until Season 45 when they will become available in the Shop for Echoes and Fragments.
- Logic Path Update

The Logic Path Costume will be for Embalmer this coming season and will include a B-accessory, a portrait, and a portrait frame for him. This costume will also be available in the Shop for a limited time after next season starts for players who reach a certain position on the Logic Path, but don’t receive the costume.
- More Hunters in Cryptic Notes
More Hunters will be added to Cryptic Notes this week according to the August Dev Q&A, so you can expect new Hunters like Sculptor, Naiad, and Night Watch to be playable after the update.
- Character Day
“Knight’s” birthday will be arriving this week on September 8th and he will be celebrating his first birthday in the manor. Since it is already the 8th in China, we already have his first birthday artwork as shown above. His Global server birthday artwork will be posted later tonight.
What’s Leaving This Week:
- All 3 Essences

With the close of Season 43, the essence will be leaving. While the A-costumes will remain and be placed in the Memory Sphere for anyone who wants them in the future, be aware that the S-costumes won’t return. So for anyone still trying to pull for Gardener, Mechanic, or “Herztier,” I wish you the best of luck (and a little extra money in your wallet if you need it).
- Logic Path and Rank Treasure

Similarly, the Logic Path and Rank Treasure for the season will also be leaving, but as mentioned before, you can still get them after the season ends depending on certain conditions.
- Qixi Gothic-Romance Costumes

The Qixi Costumes for “Knight,” Night Watch, and Soul Weaver will be leaving the Shop this week. They will return again, so don’t stress if you can’t afford to get them now. In addition, this also means “Psychologist” and Patient’s Qixi Costumes will be leaving, but always they return multiple times, so don’t fret if you can’t get them now.
