The COA IX Finals will be broadcasted live on IDV’s socials on May 5th. Both the third place and first place matches will be livestreamed that day, but just as importantly, new upcoming content will be shown as well.
Here is what to expect based on last year’s COA VIII livestream:
The reveal of the next E-sports team, SRE.
SRE will most likely consist of “Knight,” Enchantress, Prospector, Coordinator and Night Watch.
A New Cosmetic Series.

The Whimsy series was introduced last time. However, since the March livestream of this year introduced the ART series, we could potentially see a reveal for the next ART cosmetic instead.
A New Charity Event
Last year we got the “Free Lunch Program” which gave us a free A-tier for Guard 26.
New Crossovers
- The Promised Neverland Pt. 3
- Paper Bride
- Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
- The Palace Museum Classics Crossover
- Shanghai Astronomy Museum
These were all the crossovers revealed in last year’s stream. However, due to the conflict between the Japanese and Chinese governments, Japanese IPs haven’t been seen in the game for months now. We will just have to see if there will be any Japanese IPs revealed in the livestream this week.
On another note, the crossover above was revealed in March’s official livestream. Many were able to identify this as being Funism’s Maltese products. The casters on that livestream announced that we can expect to learn more about this crossover during the COA IX Finals so stay tuned for that!
New Story Content
Cage of Yesteryear was teased during the livestream. As many know already, this year we are expecting to see Game 0 come alive in the next story update.
However, recent sleuths on Twitter have revealed that the official account for one of the pets of the manor, Alexander, may be foreshadowing the next main story event with Alice and the others.
This is really big, if true. I have no idea if they will confirm this with the COA livestream, but we shall see soon enough.
New Characters
Last year, “Escapologist,” “Cueist,” and Lanternist were announced as new characters entering the manor. However, an official QnA from last year mentions that the developers will consider releasing fewer characters to focus on older ones. We will just have to see if this rings true with the upcoming livestream.
New Game Mode
Enchanted Forest was introduced last year so we can expect to possibly see them announced another new game mode.
And with that, this is all the content you can more or less expect to see with the COA IX livestream. It will be livestreamed on IDV’s socials, namely their YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Twitter accounts. However, depending on where you live, you may be more comfortable watching the replay. The third place match and finals match will go live at 14:00 and 17:30 UTC +8 respectively. For example, if you’re on the east coast of the US, it will be 2:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. respectively.
