This is a quick summary of all that was revealed during the show. I have provided a table of contents for ease of navigation for those interested in one thing over the other.

Free Dreamweaver Rabbit Costume for the Breaking Wheel

The Dreamweaver costume for The Breaking Wheel will be given out for free when players log in between June 18th and July 16th.

Summer Event: Midsummer Tidesong Begins June 25th

The story is as follows:

This year we will journey to a new scene to begin our adventure, the ruins of a lost underwater civilization. Legend has it that a secret treasure called the Heart of Pelegaya is buried deep within the ruins attracting countless explorers to dive into the depths of the sea. Among them a highly nearsighted freelance writer, a mysterious boy who claims to have been separated from the adults, a historian seeking an oracle, and a mute local fisher girl will meet us in these waters and join us in uncovering the secrets of the deep.

This year’s summer event limited time S-costumes are for The Mind’s Eye, Coastal Ease along with its A-accessory, Pearl Puff, and Naiad’s Citrus Summer along with its A-accessory, Lemon Shades, will be released with this anniversary event. They will be available with fragments as well.

Previous summer event costumes and accessories will return to the shop and event store on June 18th.

The public map, Misty Voyage, will also be releasing on the same date. This will be the first map to include underwater elements and gameplay.

Furniture and event rewards will also be obtainable through the event story and public map quests. Two furniture, Pearl Throne and Shark Ambush will be given for free through the map quests.

Season 43 Rank Treasure and Logic Path

The Logic Path costume, “Frostflame Special,” for First Officer will be released with the new season on July 2nd.

The Rank Treasure for this season will be an S-accessory for Weeping Clown and A-accessories for Painter and “Cueist.”

Season 43 Essences for Gardener, Mechanic, and “Hertztier”

Season 43 Essence 1

Season 43 Essence 1 will be centered on the Truth and Inference universe for the Global anniversary. The story as outlined in the livestream is as follows:

A misdirected wedding invitation leads Miss Truth to a small town steeped in strange legends. A wedding held ahead of schedule, the bride and groom nowhere to be found…The chaotic dance footprints, and faint water stains on the ground tell a sinister story. The legendary curse seems to be coming true and among the mingling guests an even more chilling undercurrent is stirring. The invitation has been sent…are you ready?

S-costume, “Wilis” for Gardener will be released along with A-costumes for Photographer, “Submerged in Dreams,” and “Faro Lady,” “Dance in the Wind.” The essence will drop on July 2nd.

Another key image for the essence tied to the anniversary story, “Stilewald’s Feast” featuring Joseph, Emma, and Evelyn.

This other poster not only highlights the essence S and A-costumes but shows us the B-costumes will be given to “Queen Bee,” “Cueist,” Magician, and Enchantress. Weeping Clown’s B-costume will be given for free through the event story.

This poster is also just describing the IJL Finals dates, times, and venue.

There is also a S-costume package for “Disciple” which will feature her costume “Verdure Afloat” and A-accessory, Toasting Cup.

Lastly, here are the rewards for this year’s Global Anniversary event. It was also announced that the 3rd anniversary story, “Surprise” in the Stormy Night, will be returning as well. This will all drop on July 2nd with the new season.

Season 43 Essence 2

Season 43 Essence 2 will release on July 23rd featuring S-costume, “Cyanotope,” for Mechanic and A-costumes, “Revived Dreams” for Wildling and “Beyond Oblivion” for “Queen Bee.”

The story is as follows:

Under the skillful management of the genius Mechanic, Miss Cyanotype, and her assistant/masterpiece, the “Cyanotype Clinic,” which claims to wash away all traumatic memories became a favorite among the nobility. But it wasn’t until a lady knocked on the clinic’s door with a high-priced commission for “oblivion,” that Miss Cyanotype discovered the azure in the pages conceals the sinful truth.

Season 43 Essence 3

Season 43 Essence 3 will release on August 13th featuring S-costume, “Fianna” for “Hertztier,” and A-costumes, “Uaithne” for Composer and “Sinann” for Perfumer.

The story is as follows:

The Gentleman are transformed into beasts, ladies fall into fantasy, and memories plunge into the void. The high society social scene is becoming a hunting ground for ancient magic. And all clues point to the depths of London’s oldest tower to the stolen magical vessels.

The three characters represented in this essence each are the incarnations of a magical vessel.

During the reveal of “Hertztier’s” essence, they also revealed that Emil will be a chase-type Hunter whose signature skill is to apply a “Bleed Mark” on Survivors. Any Survivor affected by this when struck with his basic attack or dash will take bonus damage.

In addition, the side story, Divergence, also known as the story of Game 0 featuring Emil along with Ada, Helena, and Galatea (with the mysterious Roy Kafe) will be released in the latter half of this year. Though they were vague in letting us know if it will be launched at the time of “Hertztier’s” essence.

For each of the summer essences, players will receive 10 free pulls when logging in on the day the essences drop.

The dates for each essence:

Essence 1: July 2nd (Anniversary Essence with Gardener S-costume)

Ivory Tower Story, “Celebration Gone Awry” Releases on Sept. 3rd with New Cosmetics

The story this year takes place at the start of the school during a club festival. The Detective Agency at Demori Academy is dealing with a mountain of requests such as dealing with a stolen mineral specimen, a ghost in the library, and a sudden calling card. These fragmented clues all seem to be pointing to the incident that must not be named.

In addition to the event story, the club management system has been upgraded. Event rewards will also be available when the story drops on September 3rd.

The following cosmetics will also be released at that time for Postman’s “Signal” and Sculptor’s “Deconstruction.”

Cryptic Notes Will Launch on June 18th

Cryptic Notes will be available on test servers starting tomorrow. The game mode is aimed towards players who want a more relaxed and casual IDV experience and idyllic for lore enthusiasts. The game mode is centered around exploring Winston Manor, a place that holds treasures and monsters alike.

You can play as a Survivor or Hunter, but only a select set of Hunters will be available at the start as it is more difficult to adjust some Hunters to this game mode.

Treasures that you collect in Cryptic Notes can be displayed in your Room along with collecting exclusive emotes to use. They also plan to release 2 costumes for exploration items and one high tier weapon per season. They can be gotten for free but time must be invested in order to obtain them.

They plan to update this game mode each season as they hope it is not just “a flash in the pan” like some of the other game modes. Since this game mode has pretty substantial data and additions, it will have to be downloaded to be playable but it isn’t necessary if players don’t want to play it.

  • Survivors now can see what their teammates are doing such as decoding, healing, struggling, and dismantling the Hunter’s creations. Progress is shown for all these actions except for decoding.

  • Added a “Try Again” button in post match chat to re-queue faster for solo players and be taken back to lobby if in a team.
  • Post match chat now requires manual entry.
  • Added option to block messages by teammates other than Quick Messages.

The new map will be based on Oletus Manor and players will be able to use “Nightmare’s” raven to move across floors around the map. The time players participate in Copycat matches in the manor can affect events that occur during the game.

The new map is expected to launch later this year.

Identity V × Shanghai Yue Opera House

Stay tuned for more information on this crossover.

Nagoya-Aichi Asian Games Event x Identity V

The in-game event will be dropping closer to September and will allow players to recruit from more than 20 characters to train and compete for the championship.

IDV NAEU E-Sports Scene is Expanding!

The former NAEU IVT has been upgraded to now be called NAEU IVC. This means that the tournament champions will earn a direct spot to COA X Global Finals Group Stage.

There also are plans to host the Finals offline at an on-site event for viewing. When the update occurs, there will be multiple in-game events to celebrate the launch of this new era of NAEU Esports in IDV.
