[Cryptic Notes]
- Background Story:
Hidden deep within the manor is a secret study containing a curious collection of published works by the mysterious Mr. “Orpheus.” Unlike the editions on the market, these versions give familiar characters new identities and offer fresh clues to unresolved mysteries, while the truth lies hidden within even stranger, more unpredictable endings.
How to Play: Players can enter Orpheus novels alone or as a team. Before each expedition, choose a map, difficulty, and class. You can also spend (Ink Trace) to buy the weapons and items you need from the shop.
Preparation Phase: During the countdown, you can switch classes and purchase items.
Exploration Phase: Explore deep into the map before time runs out and collect as many [Classics] as possible. Stay alert for [Anomalies) patrolling the map. Avoid them or defeat them when necessary.
Evacuation Phase: Before time expires, return to the study and submit [Classics] of sufficient value to evacuate. If you fail to submit them in time, or if you are downed during the expedition, you will be lost within the story, and all weapons and items carried in that match will be lost.
Available classes for Survivors:
Sage: The Sage perceives the faintest traces and illuminates the path through confusion.
Trailblazer: Fated to press onward, the Trailblazer bears every thorn and stands against all hostility.
Herald: The Herald brings healing grace, restoring fading life in the depths of despair.
Available Map:
The first map, [A Bringer of Doom], is now available. Currently, only Beginner, Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties are available. Nightmare difficulty will be released in a future version.
Quest System:
The Season O theme is (A Bringer of Doom). Complete tasks to gradually unlock the season story and discover the full story of Orpheus’s novel. Complete all Season Tasks to obtain a season-exclusive Pet for Cryptic Notes. It can transport one Classic back to your out-of-match storage during a match, while also counting toward the match’s required evacuation value. It can be used once per match.
Current Season: Season 0
Season 0 will officially begin on June 18th and is expected to end on October 29th. If the schedule changes, the end date may be extended. Please refer to in-game announcements for the final schedule.
Season Settlement Rules:
At the end of each season, the following will occur:
1. Tier Reset
Season tiers will be reset according to the settlement rules. When the new season begins, all Visitors will need to climb the tiers again.
2. Ranking Reset
The current season’s Tier Ranking and Extraction Value Ranking will be reset. Tier records will be retained.
3. New Seasonal Tasks
A new set of [Seasonal Tasks] will be released at the start of the season, featuring new objectives, rewards, and challenges.
